DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS.
         Sunday 3 June,11:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.

       Archives,Vintage Cars,Tractors,&Motor Bikes.

 Following on from Sunday morning Church service at Holy Innocents Church where Cawston Silver band will be playing,we will have a display of memorabilia at the New Frost Hall by the Archive Group. We also hope to have a display of Vintage cars, tractors and motorbikes. If you would like to display your vehicle or other type of transport or machinery please call JACQUI LOGAN on 01362683620. Refreshments will be served. A charge of £1.00 per person will be made for this event,which will include a cup of tea/coffee and a slice of cake.                    Foulsham Community Archives

I'm hoping to start doing my website again this year.

The meeting in the New Frost Hall on Monday 1st August at 10-30am will be the last regular monthly opportunity to see photographs and documents that have been given or lent to the Archives.

It is planned that in 2012 there will be two or three occasions,probably on a Saturday morning,when the archives can be viewed.In the meantime please ring Andrew Macnair on 01362683372 if you wish to see what is available.

Parishioners continue to lend or donate items and recently we have been allowed to copy a twelve month diary kept by a 14 year old girl in the village in 1939 with her experience of the early months of the second world war.We have also been given an extensive set of books kept by Gladys Webber between 1914 and 1916 when she attended Miss Priest's private school in Foulsham.

Please contact Andrew if you are able to help catalogue the many photographs and other items we have been given over the last 10 years.
